Demo review - Hard to tell

The demo game is fun although a lot of features are locked down so it's hard to see how the 1.0 version will unfold. A simplistic version of the more detailed ye-old-e town building sims. I'm hard pressed to say if the ever stronger attacks each night will make the game more entertaining or just deeply frustrating. Depends on the ability to strategically reduce that risk and from the demo you simply can't tell. One to watch

It needs to be completed

Becastled is a good game, but it needs improvement. I hope the release will be much better than the demo. Good luck to the developers.

some graphical bugs

Some of the tutorial was quite good. the game play was nice but there were some outstanding glitches in the free play. bad guys were pictured but not there. Also the timer for the night cycle did not start until you got a specified number of enemies and finding them was most of the challenege. could not do many of the things in the game but eh, it is a demo.

A bad version of Northgard

I'm sorry but it's not clear to me why should I play it when I can play Northard instead (which is exactly the same only much much better). I really encourage people to steal good ideas but one should improve them too, not degrade!
