A lot of fun with it
I'm not used to like JRPG and some aspects of this game have origins in JRPG, but I have a lot of fun with it despite numerous unpolished edges. It has so many cool details, combats can be very cool when you didn't over level up or avoided the OP holes, even the crafting is nice and much more warm than in many RPG. So with the unpolished aspects no way it wroth 5 starts, but it does for the fun I have to play it.

Nostalgia Heaven
Being a fan of the comic book that debuted when I was only a junior in highschool back in 2000, I know I needed to get my hands on this game. And like the comic, it does not disappoint in the least! Amazing story and flow of gameplay. It really brings back the pages of the comics to life!

Amazing game
I kickstarted the game and it is an absolute blast. The combat is fun and the story and lore are entertaining. Would definitely recommend to all gamers.

fans of the comic will love this!!
huge fan of Joe Mad, love the story, bit sluggish in places but for any Battle Chasers fan this is a must!!!!

Only if you like simplistic JRPGs
BATTLE CHASERS: NIGHTWAR apparently is based on a comic book (didn't know that before I bought it) and the entire game stays true to that style. I'm neither a comic book fan nor a *J*RPG fan, so I did noot care for this game at all. Most of the game takes place on a map where you can merely follow a path. If you bump into enemies there's a JRPG-typical tactical battle screen, only some places like caves allow a zoomed in isometric exploration mode. RPG elements are minimalistic. No stats to improve, perks are auto-picked, there are no builds: your characters have ficed classes, no leeway there. Hardcore RPG fans will be very disappointed. For fans of simple *J*RPGs you can add one more star to my rating, otherwise stay clear.
