Very Fun
this is a very fun casual game. I would recommend it. its not very expansive but for a basic game it is worth it.

Banished is a city building game where you control a group of exiled people who are restarting their lives in the wilderness. They have only the clothes on their backs and a cart filled with supplies from their homeland.
The townspeople work, build, get older, have children, and eventually die. Keeping them healthy, happy, and fed are essential to making a successful town grow. Any structure can be built at any time, provided that your people have collected the resources to do so.
There are many occupations that the people can perform from farming, hunting, and blacksmithing, to fishing, teaching, and healing. You can choose to replant forests, mine for iron, and quarry for rock, and more!

Classic City Building with great nuance!
Banished is very satisfying in the pressures the game applies to your population and an elegant UI for managing a relativel complex build out. While I would enjoy additonal features/ buildings/ scenarios/ etc., I really enjoy the simplicity of what Shining Rock has made.

An Oldie but a Goodie
Ive played this game for as long as I can remember and I still go back to it periodically. Lots of developers have taken the same concept and gone with it in different directions but this is still my favourite.
