Bang-On Balls: Chronicles

Huge open worlds with its own little story. There is no plot to save the world or to save one important person. This is Bang On Balls were you play in Historically Inaccurate events. The devs made the levels fun as all of them have their own theme, mechanics, and unique world design. Exploration is grealy rewarded as well. Game has a lot of charm. Also there is co-op online and local split-screen what else do you want?!

As I usually do, I checked a few Youtube reviews with this game, just to make certain I would actually play it. It's all a bit crazy to be fair, calling for a lift by jump-dashing into the button is just one example, but then we all need a little crazy sometimes and this definitely delivers plenty of it. The open worlds seem pretty big so far, I only got the game yesterday, so I'm still exploring, but it looks very impressive and just as whacky as the start of the game, before you discover where the access points to those worlds are located. Really looking forward to playing some more, one of the more unusual platformers I have in my collection, but like I say... Great fun!

Played this on Xbox Series X and had a blast. Lots of fun things to do. Maps are large with a lot to do in each one. It does feel a bit repetitive but not in the sense that makes you want to stop playing. I just needed a break for a day and then continue. It's a very fun game with so many accessories, and many of them have different power ups. I would play this again. We tried co-op mode but the camera needs work, but it still works.
