Baldur’s Gate 3 is something special, though. Its complexity is intimidating, but sticking with it and learning has such a high reward threshold that it's hard to not recommend the sequel to even the most casual gamers out there. It has heart, it has style, and it has the multi-year effort of a studio that obviously loves its source material. The mind-blowing size of the game itself and everything contained within is a testament to Larian Studios' dedication to its craft and commitment to bringing something incredible to the gaming public. The blend of the various Dungeon & Dragons systems into the game is almost flawless in its execution, and the math and storytelling combo does a one-two punch on almost every other RPG game out there. High quality and astoundingly fun, Baldur’s Gate 3 may just become the kind of game that old and new fans can agree is something extraordinary.

Bad updates
I really enjoyed the game. It's not the realy BG, I mean it's not fully like BG1 and BG2 but that was not a problem for me and I really liked it but with more and more updates there are more and more bugs. I really can't understand why these updates were necessary because I see nothing new except new bugs. Really annoying and really disappointing. :(

Beautiful & fun!
The moment I passed a nature check to discover a stone door hidden behind ivy and it made way to a beautiful gigantic cavern, I was sold 100%. I love that we aren't bombarded with good items that constantly make us switch gears, I love how challenging it is and that exploration truly is rewarded. As for the bugs and glitches, especially in Multiplayer, the Hotfixes and workarounds have worked really well and it just keeps getting better. Just be patient, friends.

Amazing
I played almost all Dungeons & Dragons games and this one already is one of my favorites, it has everything I wanted in a D&D game, turn combat, exploration, good story and nice sidequests, also beautifull soundtrack and amazing graphics.

Table-Top feel
A few things before I begin. I usually don't review games (Look at my count), and I have never bought into early access before.... until now. I started by watching several hours of play-through on you-tube before I pulled the trigger. I don't know what all the "purists" are squawking about as far as "not being Baldur's Gate game... I haven't played the original in many years... nor do I care. I will say that this is the first CRPG that really feels like the Table-Top experience (that *I* have played). Between the dice rolls on your responses an the narrated situational dialog that comes after... it feels a lot like a DM describing things to you in a Table-Top game as you go. I don't know if their Divinity 2 game does this or not, since I have never played that. I hope they incorporate even more of this into the game, maybe even in combat too (without having to click to roll the dice... but to hit (with target value) and damage dice coming up real quick would be cool. You have D&D rules, Forgotten Realms campaign, and a Table-Top feel. All wins IMO, even if for some reason it is not a "pure" BG game. /shrug
