Let's see,where to begin? -No notion of gender in this world,only body type 1 and 2,but you can slap a p***s on a female character and vice versa. -Devs scolding you via tiktok for creating white male characters in early access,in order to indoctrinate you. -Male companions constantly harrassing you to have gay sex with them. -Degenerate sex scenes that include but not limited to goblin toe licking. -Bestiality sex scene with a bear. -No feminine female characters to be found anywhere whatsoever. -ALL races of ALL different skin colors(black dwarves etc) live together in harmony,including the evil Tieflings.Every race is treated the same,so they might as well not exist at this point,except the bad guys ,the Githyanki. All the above lead to a flat,uninteresting,non-believable vanilla world that to be fair is inherited straight from the tabletop culturally appropriate 5th Edition. -Most of the physically strong characters NPCs or companions are ofcourse female,just like in real life. -Drag Queen NPC in a D&D game! -The game has nothing to do in terms of tone and mood compared to the previous installments. This practically Rocky Horror Show. You cannot take it seriously because it doesn't take it self seriously and neither does you as a player. -Unskippable Dice Rolls for hours upon hours upon hours upon hours. -Horrible 5th edition combat rules that even though were adapted for the game,they still result in problematic combat experience. So all in all a 10/10. You just have to love a game tailored for "modern" audiences.

Play it, its worth it. Its a modern merge of dragon age and baldurs gate, in a neat Larian engine package. I was afraid it would be turbo woke like pathfinder, but it isnt.

Even in early acces game is fun and shows great promise. Can´t wait for full release.

Wonderful game with minor bugs here and there, which is to be expected from an EA. larian has done a good job with this game from storytelling, graphics world building and etc. Worth $60 hats of to larian, buy it and support them

This game is awesome. I have been a gamer for the last 30 years or so and also a paper and pen RPG player and this game is the closest I've ever felt to roleplaying on a computer. Everything and I do mean everything is meant to provide the most immersive experience I've lived from the fantastic graphics, the seamless transitions between the great cut scenes and the rest of the game, the dice rolls which are apparent and sometimes damn frustrating when you miss a roll by a measly one point, to the acting and voicing of the engaging and intriguing characters who you really want to get to know. If you do not believe me and all of the superlatives that I used, please just look at the introduction (no spoiler, it is at the start of the game): Have you ever seen something like a mind flayer in a Nautiloid followed by three dragons and ending up in Hell ? Nuff said. All may not be perfect of course as this is early access but please ! Do not be to harsh to judge the bugs (I spotted a few but really not that many and none that didn't allow me to enjoy the game). I've read that the combat system was less "dynamic" than in the former opus of Baldur's gate but in my opinion it is rather a good thing to be able to take your time to plan your actions thoroughly and then to see the nice effect of magic or other techniques. I cannot recommend this game highly enough (this is the first time that I have left a comment for a game on GOG but I really feel that this is a jewel that should be played by as many as possible) So once again, thanks to all of the folks responsible for this at Larian studio and GOG and bye. I must leave you as I feel the urge to return to Faerun...
