( - ):
* Performance problems with higher than minimum requirements
* Memory leaks
* UI/Spellbars clunky for non-regular(16:9) aspect ratios
* Texture streaming problems
* 75 FPS, but stuttering, software freeze(able to move mouse)
* Dialogue animations not loading
* No choice for Deity unless cleric
* No Multiclass
* No indepth character creation (alignment, feats, random rolls, etc)
( + ):
* Incredible cinimatics
* Non-Lethal combat option
* Auto-Skilchecks for party
* Random seed generation (new rolls on gameload)
* Updated Spell VFX
* Freedom to roleplay
All in all a nice game in its own way, however un-playeable/enjoyable in its current state.
While the game is still in its early states, with classes and subclasses of the Player's Handbook still missing, and only a limited quantity of the story availible, so the game has been a blast and I don't regret jumping in.
An amazing game. Genuinely one of the best RPG I've played in a while - Stands in open defiance to most major trends in the industry of late and is unafraid to tell the player no, while remaining fair. Altogether a great time and well worth the time.
BG3 is what any game that calls itself "roleplaying game" should've been. A spiritual sucessor to Divinity's Original Sin 2, it allows players to do everything they want to complete the challenge.
10/10
I can't really add any new words of praise that haven't already been said by the community.
This is truly a masterpiece that deserves all the love it's gotten, not to mention that we can expect the game to improve as they release new updates, features, etc.
Definately worth full price
If you're like me and enjoy taking advantage of every quest, dialogue, scene, etc. you'll get at least 100-120h of pure bliss out of it. I ended my campaign at about 130h.
The only bad sides (in my opinion) are:
-Could have stayed in development a bit longer to fix some bugs (especially around dialogue triggers)
-The ending (got the good one) was lack luster and definately seemed put togheter last minute both in terms of content and visuals
Other than that...spectacular!
