Baldur’s Gate 3 is something special, though. Its complexity is intimidating, but sticking with it and learning has such a high reward threshold that it's hard to not recommend the sequel to even the most casual gamers out there. It has heart, it has style, and it has the multi-year effort of a studio that obviously loves its source material. The mind-blowing size of the game itself and everything contained within is a testament to Larian Studios' dedication to its craft and commitment to bringing something incredible to the gaming public. The blend of the various Dungeon & Dragons systems into the game is almost flawless in its execution, and the math and storytelling combo does a one-two punch on almost every other RPG game out there. High quality and astoundingly fun, Baldur’s Gate 3 may just become the kind of game that old and new fans can agree is something extraordinary.

Sad the story is over
a true RPG like we used to know. Great voice acting beautiful graphics soundtrack and music. So many choices in this story. I really took my time in playing this game. I felt sad after the final battle. When the story was told and the game was over. Im an old gamer and i know this new game feeling you only get it once. Sure i can reroll a new character. But it will never be like the first time. Thats the sad part. This game is so good, absolutly love it and recommend it. Even when your not familiar with RPG or D&D.

Well crafted journey
Am impressed with the denseness of story in this title as well as the considerable scope for exploration if the player so desires. Clearly much work has gone into this. For me the only downside so far has been the RNG, which is on par with XCOM in its wonkiness ( 60% hit chance never hits, etc...). Has made me log off and write this review lol Would still heartily recommend BUT I feel you need to be in the mood for its quirky randomness, which can get tiring and make you feel that playing this can be a bit of an uphill battle.
