Larian have created something absolutely spectacular. I don't know how, but I have logged 336 hours on this game, and it really doesn't feel like it. There is always something to do, and I spend half of my time planning my next playthrough.
Not since Ocarina of Time has a game set the bar so high.
This is a game that you can play through several times. Making different decisions and chooses different characters changes the actions you can take. Big world. Entertaining.
BG# is a beautiful game with many choices when it comes to gameplay, classes, races etc.
Unfortunately story-wise everything seems to have been spent on the first two acts, with act 3 being noticeably weaker in writing and pacing.
And then there's the ending which is incredibly railroaded and based on several non-sensical contrived plot points.
