I had a combat that went 2 minutes with nobody managing to hit, it was both the most impressive and painful thing I have ever experienced.

An old time classic. Very nice story that concludes in an epic saga if you play BG2 and TOB. Play it and you will see for yourself. Only downfall i can imagine for newer players, is that you must study DND 2nd and 3rd edition to understand the rules. For me it will forever be a masterpiece cause it was one of the first games that i grow up for DND.

A little slow to get going, but once you have a party that you gel with its great! I am currently playing as a chaotic evil paladin (I cant remember what the subclass was called), and now that I have a party full of evil-doers I feel unstoppable! Only thing is my conjurer seems to hate me...

Baldurs Gate, The!! genre defining game that stands the test of time. The term "classic" does not go close to captupring the awesomness and significance of this game. There are literally thousands of games that came after this doing thier best to emulate this game. Some of themselves have become classics in thier own right.... but none are its equal. Baldurs Gate stands alone.

I have played this game many times since it came out. The story doesn't really change alot with the character classes, but Its fun. Give it a shot, and you will have a good experience.
