On the surface, Atomicrops is a retro-inspired, top-down 16-bit shooter. However, even early stages start to reveal a much deeper experience, filled with love interests, guns, and unrelenting enemies. Perks can become permanent down the road, but the path to getting there is fulfilling and enough to keep you returning after each defeat for more crop production and bullet fire.

I'm a person who likes having the resources of tutorials and hints; if you are like me, I'm sorry to say you won't find that here. Other than a sweet old man who meets his untimely death in the very beginning of this game, you have no help or direction on how to play. The art, bosses, and wacky soundtrack are big pluses, as they give those good retro vibes and never feel outdated. Overall, Atomicrops isn't for everyone, but for people who are fans of the genre they'll definitely find a lot to enjoy.

Cozy as Stardew, and Destructive as Doom

one of the best roguelites out there, the graphics, the difficulty, the crazyness are all on the perfect spot, congrats. I once tried to play on my xbox, but it got out of the gamepass, now that i bought it, its amazing.

Hard farming fun

A challenging game with great pixelart. Can be quite hard and sometimes even frustrating on higher years but it is loads of fun and always keeps me coming back. I got more than 120 hours out of the basegame and haven't even touched the last two free dlcs yet.

dangerous timesink

Very fun game that has only gotten better after subsequent updates. I got this game before the reap what you crow update and since then have dumped ~65 extra hours into it.

Nice

At first it was dificult, butt once you get in to it, it gets better! Now its a nice (kind of) top down shoter, witch som added mecanics, that make me come back and try it again and again.
