Pretty much an amateur attempt at a puzzle point and click game. Not very enjoyable to try to divine the basic mechanics and obtuse intentions of the devs as to what you are actually supposed to be trying to do.
This game was a horrible experience a complete let down compare to what "Atlantis: The Lost Tale" was, the game has no story absolutly none, biggest waste of your time, it got some of the most annoying in game music of all time, I actually had to mute the game due to how horrible some soundtracks in this game was, again another let down since "Atlantis : The Lost Tale" had some amazing soundtracks with exception of one area in that game. The title of this is misleading the game has barley anything to do with Atlantis you think the end of the game will justify the mean but it doesn't after finishing the game you feel like you got scammed out of your precious time. The story of the game will make zero sense. The levels of this game is designed by someone who was probably high on drugs, possibly the story as well, I bet whoever made it told the devs "Ya guys I got it!!" while high on drug making story that feels something out of someone who is high. Please by all means AVOID this game this game is the worst game ever made, no horrible game can come close to how horrible this one is, also the level desgins of this game are annoying as hell, there is part in the game where you actually go to hell, this game is the perfect embodiment of hell it self, please avoid it at all cost.
Honestly this is not worth playing it to the end. While the music is sometimes beautiful and the art really impressive and creative for its time, this game is a pain to play and move forward. Some nonsense has to be done, going back and forth at the other side of the worlds to do certain tasks or remember specific things you would never expected to be useful. So you will struggle and see several (simplistic) guides on the internet to try to figure this out. Moreover, some areas in those worlds can be sooo unclear to move around (forest in Yucatan or the final underwater stage)... I think it is not worth the time and patience do complete it, as the story itself can be resumed at the typical "light VS dark battle", try it if you want but beware of its flaws.
poésie, personnages attachants extrêmement bien interpréés, humour, énigmes, graphismes qui tiennent toujours la route et permettent de s'immerger dans l'univers, musique envoûtant... une réussite
The first game was a frustrating mess of poor puzzles and bad story. So you'd hope they'd improve in the sequel, right? Nope! The story in here is just as bad as the first game, just now it's no longer simple and uninspired, but nonsensical and absurd.
None of the characters are memorable or interesting, just existing to give exposition or hints. All the puzzles are frustrating and illogical as well.
The music has seen a downgrade as well, with only one of the two composers of the first game returning, and it shows. While never bad or unfitting, it feels extremely lacking in comparison to the first games soundtrack.
I don't understand how this one sold well enough for a third game to be made.
Stay away from this one, even on sale.
