Let's start with the good side. The game is fairly long and quite enjoyable to play. The story, albeit very classic, is well written and fun, except maybe for 1 or 2 very cringe moments. If you played the other titles, the mechanics will feel somewhat familiar but there are several differences now. They dropped the weapon upgrade alltogether and the accessories have been replaced with some jewels with a midly irritating twist. They have however upgraded the formation mechanic which is very good.
On the bad side though. First, there are no map in dungeons. Sorry Kamco, but we're not in the 80's anymore ! 1 start out right there.
Most if not all of the Asdivine series had been created for mobile and ported to PC. While the previous titles were good on that side, this one is missing important things. There is only 3 slots for saving, the UI had not been reworked so it's clearly intended for a touch screen (a real pain when you're buying/selling things), and the worst of all is the game currency. Beside gold and Guild coin, there is usually GamePoint as a currency. With the previous titles, that currency was a rare to uncommon drop in battle which is fine as the goods you can buy are not required, but can get your life much easier. On mobile, the real way to get them was to buy them with hard cash (micro-transction !). Beside the fact that micro-transaction are inherently evil, the only other way is to farm (a very long and dull process) them with one type of monster. On the PC, or course, you can't even use cash...so only farming is left, hence another start out.
With that in mind, I would still recommend it for the RPG side, but be aware.
