Arkanoid是TAITO Corporation于1986年推出的经典街机游戏。当名为ARKANOID的母船受到攻击时，小型宇宙飞船VAUS得以成功逃脱，却被困在了另一个维度。VAUS不得不游荡在跨维度迷宫内，必须摧毁名为“spacewalls”的砖块以打败“DOH”，后者是导致这一混乱并使ARKANOID被摧毁的罪魁祸首。
Arkanoid – Eternal Battle由才华横溢的法国工作室Pastagames倾情打造，标志了这款经典打砖块游戏的回归。
玩家将首次能相互对战，凭借“Eternal Battle”模式，感受精彩的在线体验，这也是该游戏的全新功能，将把街机体验带入一个全新的高度。这种Battle Royale模式可让25名玩家在线对战。

Closest to the org. paddle you can get
I have been looking for years now to play Arkanoid, a favorite of my youth, like on an arcade machine – with a paddle. There are proposals online to build stuff from old joysticks or buy arcade accessories and build them into an arcade stick. All quite the hassle. Here I can play simply by mouse and that's the closest I have come to the original paddle so far. Moreover, in singly player, the screen looks warped like the old CRTs in the arcade machines used to be. I think there are also scan lines. I can see the effort being made, although it has its limits. Bottom line nonetheless: from my point of view recommended. I wish Taito would make the effort and bring an out a stick with the original paddle like companies used to do back in the day"olden days" (like PS1).

Not that fun...
Sadly not fun at all... The screen is small, also in Neo Mode and in Retro Mode even really small within an ugly Arcade-Machine. I feel lag spikes making the mouse/the bar stutter sometimes which makes you loose the ball as your bar jumps. The Retro-Mode is more likeable but sadly looks like in miniature... I have another recharged breakout game from a known brand which plays much nicer, looks better, has more options and modes and is just really fun and chill to play. This one here sadly is not. Give us Arkanoid 1 +2 with sharper graphics and full screen playfield and you have a good seller... I play single and did not even try the "eternal battle" mp-mode but other reviewers mention that the battle is not so eternal as there is nobody to play with.
