Missing last level of Arcania

As Arcania didn't end, you'll have to buy this as well to get to the boring conclusion. It's baffling to me that they dare to ask $35 for the whole package. Gothic 1, 2, 3 and Risen 1 are much better games than this on every level (well, maybe graphically, Arcania is technically superior, even though the world design is generic and boring) Don't get this. If you want a Gothic fix, play Gothic again, or get Risen 1.

Not worth it

This game is a terrible conclusion to an otherwise great game series. I was one of the unlucky few, who purchased the game for a full price when it was new (disk version). The Gothic series is by no means perfect, but it has character and seeing where the story brings you, despite the bugs that plagued Gothic 3, I decided to go for Arcania. Big. Mistake. The protagonist is extremely boring and unsympathetic. The story is completely forgettable and the only minor highlights were the appearances of characters from the previous games. Stay away from it unless you REALLY need to experience the story by yourselves.

This should be part of basic game

Looks like it was a part of basic game, which got cut off just to form a paid dlc. Which most of players probably bought, because it would be bad to not finish a basic game which... got its ending cut off and placed elsewhere.

Nothing like you'd expect.

Granted, had this game another title, then yes, it could have had potential. However, when your looking for a continuation of a story line, it failed their. Lastly, when the familiar characters are found, it's very few and they act and sound nothing like they used to. It was a complete let down for me that I hardly remember anything good. Graphics were about it. Get this game if your looking for a game that's only Gothic in name. If you want something like the first 3, steer clear. People say Gothic 3 was horrible, I loved that game when you downloaded the fixes. To each their own.

Its add nothing

While I had some fun, because I was able to maximaze my mage (all magic on full) and it was fun. But your mage is dpended on items he wear. That means items that add magic damage. Also you can find much more valuable items than you can create. Also you can import your old character from previous game, but beware, some items change their stats (unfortunately decreased or removed), and fortunately you find more powerful items. This expansion looks like they cut of it from base game and make it as DLC, therefore this low valuation.
