Pretty fun

I've only just started it and got through the first few chapters but I'm generally enjoying myself. As a stealth game, Aragami is pretty solid. The mechanics feel good and solid. The story is a bit vague so far but thats not really a big concern for me considering the game is still pretty fun. My major complaint is that the game doesn't explain a few things; they aren't game breaking by any means but they do feel a bit unpleasant to learn at the wrong times. For example, I had just defeated all of the guards in a certain level before I made my character touch some water and he ended up dying instantly. There was no mention that water was an instant-kill before that and I was sent all the way back to the beginning of the level. It was more than a little infuriating. I wish that I had known of this "weakness" or at least that the game would've autosaved me after I killed the guards. Aragami is a fun game, but it feels like it could've used a little more polish in certain QOL areas.

Good stealth game

Pros: Simple mechanics Cons: Checkpoints are too far form each other Note: The game is devided by chapter wich are closed levels. If you increase the dificulty the number of guards goes up and the time they take to notice goes down. Be careful because, the scores of the level only update if you win a seal. When you get to the point you know the position of all guards, the game becomes easy. When you are seen you have to react fast to run, because you get 1 hit kill.

A Game of Shadows

Aragami is a simple yet elegant stealth game that takes the idea of sticking to the shadows to the extreme. The overall feel of the gameplay is unmatched in similar titles, and it would be difficult to find another stealth game quite like this one. Everything in the game, the feel of the gameplay, the assassinations, the abilities, the soundtrack, and the art all feel complete and cohesive. This game nailed the target that it was going for. The "graphics" aren't the greatest of it's time and the art is simplistic, but it all feels intentional and distinguished. The story is decent and as simple as the rest of the games design, the level layouts are great, and the game does not overstay its' welcome. All that I wish is that Aragami 2 could have been more of a sequel to the first game.

Good third person action stealth

The game is good fun, with decent stealth mechanics, combat and atmosphere. It's a bit on the heavy side as far system requirements are concerned, but nothing too dramatic. Ryzen 1600, 8 GB of ram, GTX 660 here, and I'm in the 60 fps ballpark. The coop portion of the game intrigued me quite a bit, but you can't play over LAN, only via internet with an external application, making it not DRM free, basically. Please GOG, do something, I'm here for DRM free games, even for the multiplayer portion.

Great Game - Great Story

This is an amazing game, both fun to play single player and multiplayer, it is best enjoyed with a controller in my opinion. The game itself has fun gameplay, you sneak around, taking out gaurds as they come, you need to try to not be seen. This perfectly captures the feeling of being a ninja, sneaking, shadow abilities, kills. The game has a story, which is fun to follow, with some interesting twists, but the story isn't important to enjoy the game, so it can be skipped if you don't feel like watching it. Matching up in multiplayer can be a little meh, mechanics is pretty much auto matching, so hope your friend arrives on the server before a stranger haha - multiplayer itself is great, even on weaker connections, also has an active discord community to request a buddy for multiplayer.
