Multiplayer is a pain in the a**
Well... setting up your profile for Online Play is a huge pain in the a** and this game has no LANsupport without the Onlineprofile either. Maybe not with the profile either. I can't check right now since it doesn't give me access to multiplayer , not even grayed out, or any hint at what the f*** is wrong with my game. Activating my profile, which was activated online awhile ago and is still marked as (ONLINE) doesn't change a thing. Sure, i could contact support again or look up my problem but i will just play something else at this point and warn everybody else who considers buying this game. Bottom line: If you want to play this with friends, you will encounter several issues hindering the fun, or stopping you from playing the game altogether. Just get one of the other Annos, except 1503 since that one has no multiplayer either.

Awesome Game but crashes on win10 64bit
I did not buy this game on gog but still own a retail version of it. I really like this game and i would love to play it again but on my System (Win 10 pro 64 bit) it simply crashes to desktop without any warning or error message after a certain time of playing. According to many posts you get while searching around the internet, I'm not alone with my problem. There are some hints how to fix this problem, but sadly none of them worked out in my case. As far as I know Anno 2070 uses basically the same engine and it works fine, so I don't understand why Ubi doesn't patch Anno 1404. I can only guess that after 10 years nobody is willing to put in some extra work, sadly...
