Every gamer should try this

I remember I couldn't go on with the water monster for sometime because of the stress and fear combination. It is really scary not some make believe mumbo-jumbo :)

Scary from beginning to end!

Possibly one of the scariest games I ever played. I was initially disappointed with the puzzles compared to the Penumbra series. However, the atmosphere and story was incredible. The end was a little anti-climactic, especially with all the buil-up in the final act. (That could be because of my own distractions and pauses in gameplay during the final scenes)

Buy it for Custom Stories

I didn't enjoy that much the main story of the game, but the custom stories make up for it. Buy the game for the Custom stories. They are amazing, and there's tons of them.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent

[Overview] Amnesia: The Dark Descent is one of the most popular and acclaimed horror games ever made. It's been praised for it's atmosphere, gameplay, and interesting story. [Positives] - Incredible atmosphere. - Very solid writing. - Solid puzzles. - Very immersive. - Deep and interesting lore. - Enemies can be threatening and deadly. - High quality horror. Not many cheap scares. - Interactable objects are a great part of the gameplay. [Negatives] - The rare cheesy jumpscare. [Conclusion] Amnesia: The Dark Descent is an absolute horror masterpiece. One of the best games of it's genre and one of my personal favorites. Definitely a must play. 10/10
