Amazing Cultivation Simulator

WARNING: This game sure is not for everyone! To me, this game feels messy and chaotic. It has a huge learning curve to get a basic feeling of being in control with the game! After a hour or so I gave up. The game didn't want me to feel attached to it, nor made me want to learn it. I don't get the comparison to RimWorld either, this game is everything except RimWorld! So be warned!

Like the title said. There's far far more depth than Rimworld has though.

Dear God this game is complicated, I had to follow a series from a YouTuber to just get my bearings on the basic mechanics. Mind you, the mechanics themselves aren't really hard to handle, but because this is essentially a xianxia colony manager mixed with RPG elements, holy GOD there is so many mechanics to be aware of. Examples are Feng Shui, the cultivation of Qi and all of its quirks, skill acquisition, the agency system, Yaoguai Heavenly Tribulations, etc. Don't let the amount of mechanics deter you from playing the game, though. If you're a fan of xianxia like me, even figuring out the basic mechanics of the game is already fun! Definitely a recommended game to learn and play.

Pretty much the title. Trying to find information online is also very hard due to the smaller fanbase where the advice I find seems to always be for a version where those mechanics have been modified in a patch. Honestly the game might just be complicated in a manner where I would have to put more time into it to understand it, or it just might be MUCH slower paced than I am accustomed to in a Rimworld game. Unfortunately I am unable to tell. The tutorial doesn't really cover any mechanics at all, and of the times I have played it they seemed to have shortened it even more. The last time I tried to REALLY pay attention and it seemed to be a completely different tutorial where they almost immediately started to stand in place doing their Kung Fu stuff while the place was attacked before the place burned down. The 4 stars is because if everything DOES work as intended, than this game is probably pretty cool for the people who are able to play it based on what you can see.

I've only had the game for short while so far it seems very fun. There's a learning curve to it but it's a beautiful game!
