Love this game.
I have found memories of playing this game and its sequel as a youn teen, I would love it if GOG could get that one, Aliens v Predator 2 (2001) on here as well

Fun Gameplay
This version of AVP 2000 works on windows 7/8, Has controller support(Xbox and gamepad) , And supports widescreen which is good if you have a 1440x990. The gameplay is extremely fun the most enjoyable campaigns (in my opinion) were the aliens and marines. The predator on the other hand i find somewhat difficult because of not being able to see anything whilst using diffrent vision modes while also trying to play with clunky controls for the predator. Other than that this game is Brillant i would recommend this if you're into AVP,alien or a predator fan heck even if you would give the multiplayer a go (which is somewhat empty and i mean like 2 servers at the most). 10/10 would kill humans agian.

Very Happy
Wow. Works perfectly. Yes I have the original CD laying around, but I'm happy to pay GOG to enable such fun classic gaming on Windows 7. My first trip through AvP didn't sport such good hardware but now it runs incredibly smooth. Now I'm really enjoying the game!

Remake the AvP2!!!
ya AVP was good but AvP2 was better and nothing has been made so far in FPS that brought the genre to that level, (played Aliens runner 90% of the time for years) that's show how the game industry has gone lethargic and complacent.

A classic game
There is something about Classic 2000 that just 'feels right'. From the perfect turning and controls to the way your characters zip around at the speed of sound, it never feels off or weird and just feels good overall. My favourite character will always be the Marines. There is just something sinister about being stalked, about being the prey. Those dark corridoors still scare the crap out of me and the lack of any real music makes those sound effects really stand out. The Alien is probably the second best, being on the offensive and able to stalk and kill in a way that not many other games allow you to. There is just something satisfying about jumping down onto an unsuspecting victim. I never got the hang of the Predator, not in 1999 and not in 2022. I find the levels don't really capture what the Predator really can do. Perhaps a lot of jungle levels with stealth and shoulder cannon's could have been a lot better. The first half is quite a slog with a few basic weapons, you need to take it slow and sometimes, it even feels like the Marines are hunting you, rather than the other way around. Overall, it is one of those 'must have' games. Also, since GOG only give you the Windows version, if anyone wants a Linux or macOS build, there is a repository here: https://github.com/atsb/NakedAVP that makes it playable on non-Windows systems.
