When she left Earth, Ellen Ripley promised her daughter Amanda she would return home for her 11th birthday. Amanda never saw her again.
Fifteen years later, Amanda, now a Weyland-Yutani employee, hears that the flight recorder of her mother’s ship, the Nostromo, has been recovered at the remote trading station Sevastopol. The temptation for her to finally understand what happened is too much to resist. When the crew arrive at Sevastopol, they find something is desperately wrong. It all seems to be connected to an unknown menace, stalking and killing deep in the shadows.
In order to uncover the truth about her mother, Amanda is forced to confront the same terrifying thing that separated them.

质量极高的游戏，败在小众的硬核和半开放地图
游戏有着逆天级的画面质量，放在2023年依旧能打死一片其他游戏，其贴图、渲染、镜头后期特效都是极致的。优秀的优化、多样的声效和称职的背景音乐、充足的流程、完美对第一部电影设定的还原以及DLC对电影本身的复刻。还有最值得称道的，制作组为该游戏发明的异形AI，简单来说就是系统被分成两组，组A管理着玩家知道玩家位置，另一组B管理异形并不知道玩家位置，A会将玩家具体在哪个区域告诉B，但不会告诉B具体位置，所以B也就是异形在搜索起来非常随机和多样性。（一般恐怖游戏都是AI知道玩家在哪但假装不知道）游戏会劝退非常多的玩家，甚至某些异形系列死忠，我认为有3点：1.该游戏是极为硬核的【潜行】游戏，鲁莽是99%行不通的，有枪但是完全做不到硬刚，甚至都不能像《逃生》那样溜怪，而且容错率极低，被异形发现大概率秒杀，失败后会读取上次的手动存档位置 2.存档机制，该游戏没有自动存档，需要找到存档点手动存，存档需要3秒左右，期间玩家无法行动且非无敌状态，敌人有几率会偷袭；同时如果玩家不小心失败会从上一个存档点开始，心态容易炸 3.半开放地图，游戏采用类似《耻辱》的半开放地图，很多前期区域后期还会回去，并且有很多限制区域需要到游戏后期解锁某些工具才能进，而且某些限制区域是可选的，取决玩家愿不愿意跋山涉水回去取那点奖励；且清一色的素材重复利用和极不友好的任务引导让路痴或半路痴玩家非常难受，不仅会迷路而且因为需要时刻静步、躲避敌人大大减慢找路的效率，心态容易炸。

IGN SUCKS!!! 🤣 If you're looking for a FPS based on the exploits of the Colonial Marines, this ain't it. This game is a survival horror masterpiece. You'll be sneaking around, trying not to shit your pants as you're stalked by a Xenomorph who's out to kill you. You'll run into civilians, NPCs, synthetics and other hazards along the way. The atmosphere is first rate, and although the game is 10 years old, it holds up well in 2024. No other game captures the essence of the first Alien movie like this one. When that Xenomorph spots you, you'll wish you were dead, and you probably soon will be. Plenty of excellent DLCs are available to, including one that let's you play as the original crew members of the Nostromo. This is a AAA+ title that is a 10/10 in my book.

seems a bit overrated
its ok. pretty clunky on the PC, nice graphics though. seems like a crappy system shock knock off with aliens lol
