An alright twinstick shooter.

My rating would probably be closer to 3.5 stars It's repetitive and had LOTS of back tracking, most of the objectives come down to "Activate thing to unlock door to activate thing to unlock door" while shooting alien bugs repeated for 5 levels, which take around 30-40 minutes each, It got pretty boring toward the end and I just turned off the games "Music" and put some metal on and sped through mowing down aliens, made it much more enjoyable, so I'd recommend playing that way.

does not run

Same as reviewer danthompsett for the second game. The game does not start and says, "Physx error". This error shows for all Alien Breed games. this was a givaway, but do not buy until it has been fixed

Pretty good arcade game

It is a mid arcade game, nothing extraordinary. It's inspirations are clrealy visible (dead space, alien) and it gives you the most basic tasks on repeat basically. Strategizing with ammo and how to clean sectors is fun, but the map design and the repetitiveness can make this game a bit dull at points.

Motion sickness buffette.

I can barely put myself to write this after playing the game for an hour. I was constantly looking up at my celing lamp to see if there was an earthquake happening (which are common where I live), just to find out it was just the game making me seasick. Throw away your previous experiences with twin stick shooters. This thing's camera is fixed to 8 directions instead of letting your freely rotate the camera with the mouse. If you move your mouse, the camera won't rotate until you reach a sweetspot. Once you reach it, the camera will snap to the closest directional segment. Sometimes you'l be shooting an enemy just to suddenly have the camera snap to another direction. The whole thing is absolutely nauseating by itself, but to make things even worse, the first level is filled with nonstop explosions that trigger flashes and camera shakes with motion blur, EVERY COUPLE OF SECONDS, for the 30-40 minutes that the first level lasts. So no, I won't subject myself to this level of missery just to play a class-B indie ALIEN ripoff, and nor should you.
