Magnificient 4X game

Fun co-op or solo
Great feature i really like that you can play online with your friends and it saves the turn and no matter how busy you are you can resume and play the game at your own pace and wait for when they can play there turn next.

Enjoyable dad 4x
Well, this game is quite easy, it has engine that allows you to create your empire fantasies. If you're a racist that's fine, if you're a green skin enjoyer that's cool too. If you want to be a human that's okay as well. Want to be a bird? No problem. The spells aren't hard to grasp, one session is all it takes to almost fully understand all of the mechanics needed to enjoy the gameplay. No tutorial that is annoying to go through. Overall a pretty good experience. That's my first Age of Wonders game I've actually played, I remember seeing adds for the AoW and AoW2 as a kid, and now I can finally enjoy it myself. It is a bit pricey for what it is. Combat is enjoyable, heroes-style, I'd say The endless Space 2 is the better 4x but I don't enjoy the combat there.

I'm having a good time
As someone who's only played Shadow Magic and Planetfall I didn't really know what to expect with 4. I'm just going to say it is a very fun game, brings me back to my youth of HoMM 2/3. I'm learning as I go and enjoying myself. Haven't been this interested in a game for awhile so thanks Triumph. Look forward to more content.

If you liked previous AoW you should like this one. Talking only about basic game singleplayer, havn't tried multiplayer and DLC is too expensive imo.
