Absolutely brilliant
One of my all-time favourites. Smart game with more content. Developers really love it and cares about it (Patches and DLCs)

Very detailed and lovingly crafted
The developers have kept up with this game and it shows. Its a wonderfully crafted and deep playing experience. Overall very enjoyable to play with a friend, though it will take time to get used to the turn length for beginner players

It has DRM
The game is really good. But it has DRM. Remember what GOG says: "DRM-free means no copy protection, on-line checks, or any other annoyances. It’s all about just you and your games and movies. You should feel you own the products that you buy - just like a book, or a DVD." This game has online check. You can't play at LAN without internet connection, you can't play at LAN if you have not 2 or more copies from the same game, you can't play multiplayer at home with your family without 2 or more copies... Beware before buying this great game.

Possibly the best AoW game
This game is fantastic, it is immersive, is not overly complicated, yet still requires a good deal of strategic thinking before you will beat it. Of course it aged a little since its release and later iterations of AoW games have perhaps features that work a little better gameplay wise, but for me AoW 3 is the pinnacle of story immersion and gameplay that pulls you in to play that typical "another turn...". Also the music is beyond excellent, you could almost justify buying this game just to listen to the OST.

Amazing turn base strategy
The Game is near perfect. My only complaint is the balancing issues. Certain classes are much more fun than others. For instance, I view the rogue class as too weak as their tiar 4 units cannot compare to others. Also I believe the global spell Armageddon has to be rebalanced as it effects all opponents, even opponents the player hasn't met yet. It should only affect the opponents the player or computer has met. For instance, in one of my random map scenarios the computer casted Armageddon and my units would not regenerate and i could not dispel it because I never met the AI yet. Other than that, the game is super addicting.
