Go with something more modern.
Takes like 5 mins to startup on Windows 10/11. Feels unstable. I'd go with Endless Legend tbh. At least you know it won't crash 40 hours into a campaign.

Great Game
I love this game, may be becouse I love strategy games may be becouse I played aow 1 and 2 and I found a lot of changes that I liked a lot, but also is more strategic, fluent, and graphicaly beautifull than those last versions, the storys are great, not only the content but the voices, and the great characteristic of aow 1 and 2 wich was cutomisation is also a realy nice add. My contra would be that I couldnt find as many races as I found in the previous games, and some bugs they are already patching so I believe it wont be much of a problem later on, and a possible expantion would be even greater. DLC in my oppinio is not a problem, every company should have rights to protect what they worked for, and the game can be used offline too if you imput your code if not you wont have the same options.

No Drm Please.
Please boot this game. Bring it back when they remove the Drm this game ships with. This is GOG not steam. Thank you.

A Great TBS
This game is nice breeze of fresh air in the world of TBS, after seeing many games attempt this style this was one of the few that succeeded. It does require a online account to play online but every other feature you can access as a guest offline, and when you think about it every game on gog requires a gog account to download, so if a online account is DRM then every game on gog has DRM. This is a excellent game.
