We are searching for a leader for one of the web development teams in order to make gamers’ lives even better.

We have:

  • • Growing team of 20+ rockstars divided into cross-functional (software, design, UX, agile, QA) product engineering teams.
  • • High team autonomy.
  • • Hundreds of code repositories.
  • • Worked with CD Projekt RED on their projects.
  • • Petabytes of data transferred over network every month.
  • • Thousands of servers that we run our code on.
  • • Hundreds of thousands of metrics collected.
  • • Used all the DDs you have (BDD, TDD, DDD).
  • • Divided by 0 on production.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing an autonomous, agile development team of up to 8 people.
  • Providing people and process strategies for the team.
  • Developing and maintaining highly available, scalable web services for millions of gamers around the world.
  • Communicating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure all projects are delivered with high quality.
  • Supporting the professional development of all team members.
  • Staying abreast of best trends by researching new tools, as well as enhancing and further developing existing solutions.
  • Sharing your knowledge with other team members and supporting them in solving complex challenges.

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience in web development (PHP or Javascript).
  • Experience with leading a team.
  • Ability to easily communicate in English.
  • An overwhelming desire to code the best web services on the Internet.

Pluses:

  • Strong understanding of best security practices.
  • Experience with work in an agile environment.
  • Familiarity with Symfony in a production environment.
  • Hands-on experience with microservice architecture, projects scalability and performance tuning of web applications.
  • Experience with TDD, BDD, DDD, Event sourcing.
  • Understanding of source control systems and deployment processes.
  • Passion for gaming, game services, and online communities.
