Sort by Price
It's so. Fucking. Hard. to implement sorting by price in products catalog, goddamnit! You don't understand!
Yes, this. SORT BY PRICE!!!!
This is one of the things that adds another barrier to buying games quickly on GOG.
I don't always use my card, but when I do it is very convenient to have a price sort feature like other game stores do. If this is being looked at to be implemented an idea or something to add would be to set a price limit as well say you only have this much and you sort up to that price and show what is that price or lower. Just my opinion.
Dont understand why this isnt a feature? Its standard on 99% of websites. With a small amount of spare cash spare I want to pick from the lower cost games
The sooner this is added, the sooner I can spend more money.
Don't support GOG with your money until it adds the MOST IMPORTANT feature to Galaxy 2. Anything like adding games from Steam is nonsense and useless. I just have two clients. Steam and GOG and that solves it. <br /> Gog unnecessarily gets the job done by adding nonsense that people don't need, or at least don't need at the beginning of using the Galaxy Client. <br /> The Galaxy client should be ready and functional, especially with the games that the GOG company sells. Now it can't add the most important feature of all game clients, like the ordinary Sort by date of purchase, because it deals with the pointless addition of games from other clients. <br /> <br /> That's why I'm asking users to get together and stop supporting GOG with their money until these people prioritize and start doing the Galaxy with the most important features, which are certainly not part of adding games from Steam. This is a secondary issue! <br /> Gog Galaxy must first work flawlessly with your games that you sell, and only then take care of adding games from other platforms. <br />
I am both highly annoyed and baffled that this standard store feature is not available here. Time is money, and my money is something you will not see until you respect my time.
How is this still not a feature? Is the UI really that complex? Lemme at that source code, dangit, I'll do it myself!
Sorting by price and sorting by Sale % should be basic functionality and I'm actually really disappointed that they're not already implemented. <br /> I'm have no desire to go through 68 pages of games to see if there are any ones on for a decent sale price that I might want to buy. <br /> Yes, you have better prices at times, but it's not even remotely worth the headache of sifting through trying to find them.
Why the hell can we STILL not sort by price? Steam allows this. It is basic functionality. You are afraid people will only buy cheaper games? <br /> By making it harder for people to find games in the price range they can afford you sell less games, not more.
Likewise. First an excruciating hour of dealing with reCAPTCHA for the hidden codes (GOG constantly timed out by the timed I was done) and now I just don't feel like going through the sale list anymore. I really want a sort by price and/or by percentage discount.
Well, today i wanted to buy a bunch of cheap oldies. But no way i will browse through 3120+ on-sale games to find the cheap ones i would like to buy. It seems i have to buy less games than i wanted, dear gog.
P.S. to my previous post, GOG team, I bookmarked this feature and from time to time will come here to see if it "Completed".
Yep, take my vote for that feature. Also GOG - make sort by Discount value.
I would rather have sort by price than uplay integration.
Why is such a basic feature not part of GOG by now?
Ey, CDPR. Cmon guys, wth are you doing? Add this in. Don't make us think you're purposefully hiding this option for shady purposes. Please. You're our last bastion of hope.
I love GOG, but WHY, WHY, WHY hasn't this feature not been implemented? Come on GOG, we know you can do it! Please listen to the good old gamers.
yes, please. it's a very needed feature.
A workaround for now is to go to "https isthereanydeal com /?by=price:asc#/filter:gog" <br /> <br /> (remove the quotes, fill in the url and remove spaces accordingly) <br /> <br /> Seriously, this sorting by price should already have been part of the store by now. It seems it was intentionally left out. I wonder why...
It's amazing how user-unfriendly this site has become. This is why I've gone from spending a few hundred a year here to nearly nothing...because other stores make it easier to shop. I'd love to come back home, but I doubt you care enough at this point. It's nearly 2020 and we still can't sort by price??!? Serious question: are you even trying anymore?
It's about time to implement this. This is like something EA would do or Ubisoft?!?!?
Fucking sort by PRICE!! Jesus christ! You want me to spend money or not?!
Yeah, that´s hilarious it is not possible to this date and why is there no option to sort by the highest percentage for the games on sale. <br /> <br /> For games that are not on sale I normally do not care at all as even 20 Dollar or Euros is to much for new indie titles or really old games and also like way to much games while also being no millionaire. So I have the need for them going on sale and high percentages...
Seriously, GOG? This is a wishlist item from 2013 (yes, that's 6 years ago) and it's still not available? I guarantee you that you're missing out on sales revenue, because if I can't find something below my "pain threshold", I just close the browser window and "no sale". I won't spend time scrolling endlessly.
Anno 2019, still no sort bij price .... WAKE UP GOG!
Yes, this.
Got an email: Sort by price. Was like "finally!" No, they just lumped a few games in under $5/$10/etc. At this point, they're mocking us.
Got an email saying "Feeling overwhelmed with the amount of great deals? BROWSE BY PRICE", Yeah, finally! Go to gog, NOPE, no sort by price option anywhere. TEASE
Fucking sort by PRICE!! Jesus christ! You want me to spend money or not?!
Seriously, sorting by price is Digital Storefront 101. How is this not a thing, yet?
Okay, I thought I just overlooked this option, but it honestly doesn't exist? When buying a game for 9€, I want to pick up some title for 1€, so it's a round number and I have something for a boring evening. Why can't we sort by price or maybe even filter by custom price?
Not sure why it's not there...
A thousand times, yes. I really wish I could see a price-sorted list of sale. There may be many cheap games that I simply forgot about, or games that I might not think would be cheap enough to buy.
Sorry, but MaGOG is way to complicated for what should be a simple one click option. The "Discounted" feature on your wishlist ALREADY doesn't always work. There have been many times where I have logged in, gone to my wishlist, clicked the "DISCOUNTED" option, only to have it show NO GAMES AT ALL, when I know for a fact there are one or more games on the wishlist that ARE, in fact, currently on sale. And even if you DO click DISCOUNTED, you should still be able to sort the filtered list by price. I know why they don't do it (because they don't want us cherry-picking the sales) and I don't care. IMPLEMENT IT.
Lots of laughs, really gog, do you want us to write the 5 lines of code for you? How can you not have this, it's insane. I thought I'm missing something, until I googled for "gog sort by price" and found this. LOL again. great disrespect for the buyer's wishes and power to shop as he wants, if you ask me.
When it will be available?
Adding my own plea to the long list of others wishing for this feature; PLEASE, add a "sort by price" or similar function, it is (imo) sorely needed.
Also sort by discount percentage. That would be more usefull to me, actually. Still, sort by price, please..
What madness is this that a feature that has been available since the beginning of e-commerce before the turn of the century does not exist on gog? Seriously how completely anti-customer do you have to be to not only not have this feature but ignore requests for it for FIVE YEARS? <br /> <br /> Just for ignoring this so long, I'm not going to buy any games from gog until it's added. This is just crazy.
I wanted to spend another $10-$15 so I can pick up Everspace. I'm not going to go through 37 pages of games under $20. Consider this a lost sale.
Dear GOG, <br /> if you're going to give us this feature, please look to sites like <a href="http://steamdb.info" class="light_un" target="_blank">steamdb.info</a> for inspiration.
How is this NOT A THING ALREADY?!
I guess the next stage would be an email campaign, since obviously no-one listens to or pays attention to our wishes here?
This is pretty disappointing to see how old this request is. Nearly every other online store allows sorting by price high=>low or low=>high; even some of the low quality bundle stores have this most basic feature.
5 years on.. nothing. Incredible.
Another peeve is that all the emails only tell you the discount and not how much the game is. I dont bother following up, but im sure they loose sales by these shenanigans. If they want to look like a healthy alternative to Steam, they needs to look more like a health altenative
This is the only website I know of that does not allow you to sort by price. The only explanation is that they want to made it harder to find the cheapest games. Surprised that GOG does this
Yes, please do add ability to sort games by price. I often use paying methods like PaySafe Cards, which you can only combine in 10, 25 and 50EUR cards, meaning I often end up with leftover, lets say 3,11EUR. And not being able to sort things by price is real moodkiller, since I have to manually go through like 17 pages of games. Steam allows me to sort it, but I would also love to give GoG some of that love, but I simply can't, because searching for games at certain price, it is horrible experience. I mean it is 2018, not 2000 when online stores were still fairly new thing and functionality like this wasn't as common.
