One of the great things about playing old games, is that they run well on low powered computers, like netbooks. Because I use a netbook, my limiting factor on games is often the resolution, since the screen is so small on my little netbook, so it would be nice to have a heads up before I download something, to know if I will even be able to run it with my limited resolution.

Exact same problem here, and i have ran into that issue more often than i would have liked. my prefered computer is a particularly poweful netbook (as far as netbooks go), so system requirements are often well exceeded on those old games.... but some still wont run because i am limited to 1024 x 600.

Actually, showing a list of all supported resolutions (for the many IMO broken games that don't support arbitrary ones) would be good, since modern displays certainly don't support arbitrary resolutions.
