Purge Curation

It turns down games that sell well on other distributing services... And/or games that their wishlist entries here, are counted in hundreds, even thousands of votes (popular demand).

It doesn't do GOG (as a service) good or justice, since it deprives it of extra games and new deals... At a time that its inventory gets thinner and thinner, by the day. And their made up excuses are deprived of practicality (won't say sense, or reason).

I hope you recover soon. But honestly, curation works like "cancer" on your "body", here. Best wishes.

Yeah, I have an Itch acccount that is mostly used for DRM-Free copies of things GOG decides to block without any viable reason.

It's nice to not have a dozen pornographic slider puzzles being shoved in my face because I played a dungeon crawler with "adult" cutschenes, but the opposite side of that are the series I start here (like Anima) then never get to finish because the developer submits the second part to GOG and they shut them down.

Some come, eventually, like Dex and Ghost 1.0.

Many just never show up and I need to buy via Itch instead.

Their library managment may be kinda a mess, though not as bad as Humble DRM-Free, but they actually release games without randomly denying something their customers actually want.

GOG is just abusing STEAM users with their no Curation policy, Letting them test it rejecting the game first and when it's a sleeper hit they suddenly make efforts on getting it here.

The whole no Curation is a far better solution than a biased personal based one by some losers behind the scenes at GOG, Especially now when Politics and social bias are rabid in the gaming world.

Agreed. GoG has no standards and no set guidelines for developers and gamers to abide by when it comes to curation. GoG pushes Kickstarter games now from unknown developers with no track record and at the same time, rejects highly-rated, successful-selling games from respected developers.
Also, GoG feels nobody would like any sports games.
Some of games GoG has rejected for no logical reason(s):
Mushihimesama
Wizardry
DariusBurst
Full Ace Tennis Simulator
Grimoire
Among many others.
