I'd like to see the addition of the original installer for games, plus all patches, in addition to the automatically updated installers already forced upon users.

The reasoning is simple, sometimes a patch breaks or changes something. Having access to the original installer and every patch allows users to bypass such problems should they occur.

Saint's Row 2 is a notable example, as GOG has forcibly capped the framerate. nVidia inspector no longer works as a bypass for this forced limit.

This is the reason, why I do not buy at GOG anymore.
Having offline archives was the very reason to buy at GOG.

I would be very happy for older versions of games (all versions). That's only thing what is missing on GOG.
