Did you know that many developers who want to sell new games on GOG are rejected? Many new games are rejected because gog doesn't have enough space to promote them, so they narrow down the list. I propose that gog offer a way for ANY "reasonable" developer to sell their game directly through gog... maybe on a separate site, maybe without the promotion, but offer some way for reasonable developers to sell their game DRM-free. GOG could still set a quality level to keep out the bad, of course.

Ideally this could be done by having a two part system... one site for developers to sell direct, set their own prices, do their own promotion... and another system run like gog is now, where gog selectively chooses the game and promotes it on the main page, etc....

I have an interest in this as well but the only thing I can find here is a simple Indie Submission form. There's no info at all regarding a process or anything. Regardless of their policy on selling games on their platform, they should have something posted for us to see and understand. A blind submission form isn't enough.

Why do you think some games are being rejected? this is totally new to me. Also plenty of pretttty awful games seem to make it through, but that's just my personal opinion and taste. So what's really going on? are all kinds of games both high and low quality making it through, or are some being rejected as you say? I'm completely confused on this. Where did you get this information?
