Currently, Galaxy users are the only ones with access to older versions of the installers while they probably are the least interested in them.
At some point, Galaxy integration in new installers may break WinXP-compatibility for games that were sold and bought with that premise and there may be other use-cases for it.

This is nice in theory and I'd welcome this feature on the website if it can be done in a cost efficient manner as I really don't want them passing the cost on to me or worse close up shop trying to supporting a growing number of packages due to the permutations of OS, installer, and game version. Perhaps a solution would be to either adopt an open source package format or create a new open source package solution if one doesn't fit their needs? At least the community could continue to support old packages or the means of converting them to work on platforms no longer supported?

Anyways I'd like a rollback on the website due to no galaxy on linux (yet). Even if we do get a galaxy on linux I like storing my downloads on my local server.

I fully support this. Since I do not want to use the optional Galaxy client (and think I cannot anyway on WinXP), but might need previous installers to play my games on the dated - but only - machine I have, please make these available through the website.
