Improve the process of updating games for developers
Yea kind of like Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption, (Supposedly) steam version is way ahead on some serious stability updates. This is a huge issue because the modding community is split in half in such a way that most mods have only been updated for the steam version, resulting in AMAZING mods existing for the steam version while being completely unplayable and incompatible on the gog version. It's extremely sad.
Good question ELF! I think I've seen some people mentioning it a few times when I've looked at different sub-forums for games here but it's been few and far between so I'd love to know if it's on the developers or on GOG!
Thought my Understanding is that the game "King Arthur's Gold" was removed due to GOG not wanting to make it Free-to-Play
And a developer from Teyon has a tweet about a proplem some developers might have with contacting/getting answers from GOG twitter.com/PawelKlimesz/status/1356526562837938176
Do we have this on black and white? I mean, is it the update process that is problematic? I'm gettign the feeling that it's the game companies that are lazy. That they're prioritizing other platforms first and then forgetting about GoG.
Why did my previous comment disappear?
It was like: do it at least for new games that get frequent updates and hotfixes.
Why should we wait for weeks or even months?
Word up!
Do it at least for new games that get lots of frequent updates and hotfixes.
