Please, when selling a game, be honest and tell us which expansions are NOT included. This may even help boost sales if you sell the expansions separately by letting us know about them!

GOG sells "Europa Universalis III Complete" for $14.99. This was complete when it sold, but only includes two of the four expansions for the game. Two more expansions were sold after "Complete" came out, but LONG before GOG put this misleadingly-titled bundle on its site. Many people gave it poor star ratings because of this dishonesty. You can also buy "Europa Universalis III Collection Upgrade," which includes the remaining two mods, a music pack, a unit pack, and tons of sprite packs... for $24.99.

I guess it's reasonable that you sell us a game without mentioning every graphical DLC that it leaves out, but at least tell us the truth about major expansions that are not included, especially when selling a bundle that includes some expansions. You should give us a side-by-side comparison that says which expansions we get AND names the ones that we don't get unless we pay more. Even auto dealers often give you a checklist of which features are included in each version of their car. GOG shouldn't be selling "complete" packs that list all the features of the two expansions that are included but don't mention a word about the two that aren't. I want to believe that GOG represents "all that is good in gaming," but I cannot believe that if GOG uses the word "complete" falsely and exhibits all that is bad in sales.

Comment burried. Unhide. .

There is a box on a game's description screen that lists "optional related content" for purchase, but it is less noticeable than the "buy complete series" button (that often doesn't include optional content for specific games within the series). I appreciate the presence of this box, but it is not enough to rectify inaccurate use of the word "complete." If there is a major expansion that is not included in a bundle, spell it out. Otherwise, you will suffer poorer star ratings than the games otherwise might potentially have gotten and risk losing goodwill.
