evilprotoss its intentional at this point, they will not give it to us hoping we will buy a game we arent really into on a whimp or far worse buy a game we already own on another platform twice or even by different versions of the same game on gog. its a deceptive business practice at this point

binn05 Come on, guys. How many times do we need to ask for this basic feature? I can hide games I own, but not the ones I don't want to buy? I will not buy them, even by impulse...

sergiorcs82 To the team behind GOG, i'll try to put this in terms that may appeal to you more:
In terms of Marketing, anyone who knows anything will tell you that you should always try to show to potential clients the products they're most likely to purchase.
If we (the buyers) repeatedly waste time looking at games we're not interested in, we will invest less time looking at games we might actually buy from you.
We're not asking you to rebuild your platform. The Hide feature is almost the opposite of the Wishlist, so you may even be able to reuse some code.
Investing in this feature would have a direct and positive impact on your sales and revenue.
If the above is not enough, let me add this: it annoys me so much to have to look at the same uninteresting games over and over i often avoid GOG, and i would even be willing to contribute (with money or time - i'm a programmer) to have this feature.
mfeury GOG does a lot right, & is my top games store—over 600 so far.
But I've been buying more elsewhere recently, principally because I only have to look at a game once & decide if I'm interested or not.
I don't have the time or inclination to keep up on daily-weekly happenings, I tend to visit every few months and buy in bulk. Retailers with a "Not Interested" choice to complement the Wishlist are where I'll visit first, and therefore where I'll buy first.
GOG is still my 2nd-fav games retailer—for now. "Not Interested" would keep GOG tops for me.
binn05 Come on guys, it's getting out of hand to search the catalog during sales. We need this feature and the need for it is growing since the pool of games keep expanding.
jhelpert Ideally it would be blacklisted from every GUI element but would then be viewable, if I chose, under my account so I could look at games I've previously blacklisted (in case I decide to give them another chance).
I would imagine this is common problem where users spend more time filtering than purchasing what they're interested in.
AllurinGirl Yes, a simple function to hide a game from the catalogue, including sales etc. No longer I want to see the same games I either already own (here or somewhere else) or that I simply have no interest in. They crowd the store page.
