aivadroid We all love giveaways and they are increasingly popular on the General Discussion. But we also love reading interesting topics, which are lost in the sea of giveaways, because new entries are bumping the giveaway topics. Could the GOG.com staff create the Giveaways sub-forum?

Ragnarblackmane I have hosted many giveaways and think they're a great part of GoG but I'd still love to see them on a sub-forum.
Telika Of course, this assumes that there is a clear distinction between "giveaway threads" (asking who wants a free game) and "non-giveaway threads" (discussions trying to involve as many forumers as possible). And no difference between the mindset around a giveaway in general forums, and the mindset around a giveaway in a subforum for giveaways. But if you hold both these beliefs, then, by all means, vote for your thing.

It essentially removes the need for a separate forum, because you can filter out the giveaway threads.
dirtyharry50 I would like to see this implemented along with an off-topic forum for non-gaming discussions. It's only three forums to check as desired and would make it so much easier to get to the good stuff, namely the gaming discussions that are often good here. Yet, the other areas would be available for those liking them. Everybody wins.

F1ach Giveaways are great, but yeah, we need more sub-fora here, not just for giveaways. The diversity of topics that are discussed at GOG are a major attraction, but they need better organisation.
Asbeau We need this, AND an off-topic forum too. If GOG General Discussion was all about gaming it would probably be the best gaming forum anywhere.
