Enhance GOG's communication with its users and be more transparent

Marioface5 At the time of writing, there is a lot of talk among forum users about GOG's current lack of transparency and poor communication with its users. Users will be told that a problem is being worked on (such as issues with the forum or chat) and then never given updates about it while nothing seems to improve. Significant changes happen, such as the ongoing temporary gift restrictions, and users are not officially informed about it.
In the case of the gift restrictions, the only forum thread about it was made by a user who noticed it rather than a member of the GOG staff. To their credit, two staff members did post in that thread to provide more information, but several days after their posts were made there has still not been a news post to inform the majority of GOG's users about this situation.
Users should not have to look to the forum or other sources to be informed of what is going on with GOG.com. Users should not have to depend on other users for information about what is going on with GOG.com. GOG should be keeping all of its users up to date, not just on the forums, but through transparent, honest news posts.
Charodiy_UA GOG as a part of FCK DRM program, you can set an example for other digital distribution stores with good communication with gamers and transparency by monthly/year reports (how does EGS with its report for last year - how many games their store give for free and so on)! Unfortunately I cannot see such actions on your part. As for me, I like when all clear, when company I support (not only by games I buy but also by reporting about all imperfection of store) establishes communications with users of the service!

GioVio123 Come on, I know your programmers are better than this shit, move to a bigger domain if the loads and loads of messages are just to damn big and the servers can't handle them (or upgrade them) I mean this is workable! I don't think there would be more issues if we waited...but then people have had this problem way long before this was done so, what is the hold up? fix the work schedules if so!

toxicTom Supported. Customer/community communication should be improved. I can only speak for myself but I'm one of those who actually care what happens here... I've kind of made a home. Just like with the corner shop in the neighbourhood (although on a much bigger scale). I don't want GOG to be an anonymous super-market - there's enough of that around already. I want to know what's going on, because I care. Don't make me stop caring.
