Domestic payments support for India

Hunter65536 Steam recently extended their payment methods to include support for domestic cards as well as other wallets. It would be really helpful and convenient if GOG does the same.

Ulterno I finally found something I wanted to buy and went to the payments page. Saw the Google Pay (GPay) option and was happy since I have been using it in my daily commute. Turns out GPay in your case requires a Debit/Credit Card and can't work using the captive portal that many others do.
So I went to PayPal which I had already setup with my Bank account (or so I thought). They too need a Debit Card to pay and the bank account no. can only be used to receive payments.
Since GoG is using a third party payments gateway anyway, won't it be trivial to just enable one that has support for Internet Banking (similar to what Steam has)?
I think you are letting go of a really good market here with people starting to realise the problems of DRM and wanting to be able to play even when their internet connection shuts down.

Blend3rman Domestic debit and credit card holders (the majority of cardholders in India) can not use their cards to perform international transactions. As such, GOG is currently not an option for many Indian gamers. I would like to see this change. Please add domestic card support.

eofsentinel GOG would definitely become popular in India if it introduces domestic payment support. It's always good to have some competition. Currently, only Steam & Origin support this.
Recently, I wanted to get Fallout 3, which isn't available on Steam for India, but is present on GOG. However, the pricing is not feasible at all. I sincerely hope GOG brings domestic payments just like Steam did in participation with Novaplay.
haseebeqx this is very important. i can not buy games at right price just because i am an indian. i had to buy the same game at 2x price from that water vapour website
##@@##@@ I'm not from India myself, but as the second biggest country in the world (1.335 billion people) there simply 'have' to be potential customers interested in some affordable good old games. ;)
Shadowstalker16 Supporting credit and debit cards would be great. Most cards currently don't work on retailers that don't specifically ''optimize'' for them, since international transactions require a higher level of security clearance from most banks. If steam could do it, I wouldn't doubt GOG could.
