The interface on the website should show the SHA-1 and/or MD5 hashes for each file so that I can check if my downloads are undamaged. I just downloaded 15 GB of installers and my internet connection was interrupted in the middle. I know GOG Downloader probably solves such problems as well but I don't want to use it. Re-downloading everything to check seems irrational and puts unnecessary load on the GOG servers. This feature is quite easy to implement and worth the effort.

GOG should also check the HTTP Accept header and serve up a Metalink file if the downloader supports it. (Metalink is to downloaders as playlist files are to media players)
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metalink

That way, tools like the Firefox DownThemAll! extension and Orbit Downloader will just automatically verify the hashes for your when the download completes.

GOG is already serving single tarballs and installers well over 10 GB of data, imagine it being that easy to verify your download as to calculate their hashes. I'm all for it.
