The artists known as Daft Punk take a surrealist (might be wrong word) and silent journey to a small town that embodies convention and normality (the exception being that all the towns people wear Daft Punk helmets). The duo undergo a procedure to "become" human.

The movie is set to music by other artists (little of it electronic in the Daft Punk style), which fits the mood and pacing of the movie but may be disappointing for fans. The mood and pacing have something in common with 2001: A Space Odyssey (it's slow).

I'm aware that the full movie is on YouTube (as are you, if you weren't before). I invite you to watch it, to determine if it's the sort of thing you'd like to actually own (rather than need an internet connection to watch).
