Volyren also called yendor 1, yendor 2 and yendor 3. The first is a top down ultima-esque adventure, but the other two are a lot like might and magic 3-5, they are first person dungeon crawl/rpgs. I have all the games, and they work flawlessly in DOSBox. These games were published by SW games and Spectrum Pacific, if I am not mistaken. The manuals I do not have, as I bought the games from the site as a download. (apparently, they only had printed versions available) You can hit F8 in game for a hintbook that's built in, with maps, a walkthrough, and full spell descriptions, but still no basic info like stats and what not. I would be more than happy to just find the manuals. Lastly, if it helps at all, I have written a hex hacking guide for yendorian tales chapter 2. It's very simple to use, and even has a method for making the demo version a full version, just by giving your characters 1 item.If anyone happens to have the manuals, I would be more than happy to pay shipping costs, if you would be so kind as to lend them to me so that I can scan them into PDF format. I can provide the full files to gog of the original games, but again, I have no documentation. And both of the companies involved in making and distributing the game are now defunct. crpgnut I bought the whole trilogy on CD and I believe it comes with the manual and hintbook. Not sure about getting it to run on a modern system, I'm not a Dosbox guru. I do have all the games if the Smiths are interested and lost their data for some reason.

Wickez How long we will have to wait? Just contact those guys on the Internet. They are on Facebook, still the same place where they lived for years. I even chatted with them a bit, and they were surprised someone even remembered their cRPGs, lol.
