The prototype to King's Quest series. The Adventure in Serenia version is not the best version. But other versions require emulation. Apple II or the Commodore 64 are the best versions.

This would be nice if it was made available free or part of the first King's Quest pack. Or maybe part of a Hi-Res Adventure collection.

THe PCJR version also has the script from the dos version which is enhanced by actual uppercase and lowercase text, rather than block letters.

I'd recommend putting up the PCJR version. It should run in dosbox via PJCR mode, and off a disk image. It also probably the best looking version of the game, next to the Japanese FM-7 version or the C64 version. It also a version that got a proper title screen.

How about this version ported, and translated as well. It looks like it could be the best looking one altogether. Although completely different artwork.
