Warcraft is perfectly playable under Windows 7 with DOSBox. It's not hard at all to set up and DOSBox is free.

I don't know what it is about this game with its outdated interface, but I still find myself playing WarCraft: Orcs & Humans in DOS. I wish it were playable on my Windows 7 machine.

Even if the game is a pain in the arse for several reasons I'd really love to see it on GOG. And if you give it an honest try it's fun actually although frustrating at times (but even I managed to beat it so it's not THAT hard).

Blizzard doesn't offer this anymore. You are GOG, you know how to get things together. For this I'd give you another 5 dollars at least. I'd like to have my collection from Blizzard complete (I don't have any cracked games or abandonware). Please :)

Warcraft was an amazing game, once. The thing is, it's pretty terrible today. You can only select four units at a time, the AI cheats like there's no tomorrow, the pathfinding is bad, and the missions leave no room for error. It's extremely frustrating. It'd be alright as a freebe, maybe. But if you want to buy a classic RTS, Warcraft II is infinitely better.
