I've watched a number of videos on the game and it looks like most issues have been fixed! Still hope it might make it here one day.
danielsmith99 Bummer about Ultima Ascendant being pushed out unfinished, full of bugs, and designed intentionally to be terrible compared to Kickstarter promises. Otherside also decided to hand off System Shock 3 to Tencent, which means you're downloading Chinese spyware.
Huge disappointment. On the plus side, I'm not accidentally buying it on GOG.
Dick of Asknicely I'd give the game a shot! Ultima Underworld is one of my favorite games of all times. Even if this one misses that mark I appreciate the team enough to buy it and give it a play.
Just catching up on my backed games, realised I could only redeem it on steam (and an extra copy there that matter) then read the reviews and maybe I understand why it isn't here. Likely GOG said, uh, no thanks. To think I plunked down AUD $194 for something that is selling on steam for $10.50 right now. Ok so I got some bonus things, hardly worth while now. Seems I backed a loser this time round.

DuneRunner Even though this game seems to have struggled even with it's 4 update/patches, I still want to play it and give it a try. Who knows, maybe it will get even more updates and fixes, especially with SS3 getting closer to being done

I wish I could unvote. This turned out to be one of the biggest trainwrecks in video game history...
turbodevil Game is scoring hilariously low everywhere, it obviously was released ufinished. But no matter how low the reviewer rated it, the recorded footage shows something beatuiful, unique and fun to play. Developers keep fixing the game and new updates (including normal save system) are going to be released during next weeks.
I sincerely hope that by the time of next big update this game will be available to purchase here.
James.Hewitt This should already be on Gog. You'd think the devs of popular games already on Gog would have an easier time adding their new games to the website.
Otherworld Entertainment is being oblique about this issue but they mention "curation" and it makes me wonder if GOG rejected the game for not being of high enough quality.

Unless the game is great I probably won't back another one of their projects. I'm skeptical of the game as well, seems a bit different from what they initially pitched. Looking like a straight up puzzle game.

Of course, GOG is probably also trying to gauge how many people will purchase on GOG...but it seems like once people find out about it, they'll want it. And GOG is really good at letting everyone know about cool new stuff!

Backed as soon as I saw the Kickstarter go online. If the Devs deliver, we can get a descent sequel to the UW Games at last.

Everybody who lived and played in the 90s HAS to back this.
Before spectacle overran imagination, there was Looking Glass. Today, Otherside is making a game designed around the idea that freedom of choice is what make RPGs great.
Could be quite a hit, sadly as they will be using a licensed engine, not sure if the community could mod the game (which is the key as to the best possible experience).

Definitely deserves all the momentum it can get, UUW still stands as unsurpassed in some areas and this team could really bring significant new input to gaming as a whole. UUW 1&2 are still the most immersive and coherent gaming experiences I've had. Looking forward to the same overall direction and sensibility, for the lack of a better word, in the sequel.
