Aldernut Afterlight is still not available?
fisk0 It's just odd that the other two UFO games in this series are available, but not Afterlight.
A_Khan It was available at one time, at the same time the Aftermath and Aftershock were added, but has since disappeared from the GOG store. In 2014 it disappeared and reappeared as a new game on Steam (existing owners still had/have the old Afterlight in their libraries, but are not counted as owning the "new" release, though as far as I can tell they are exactly the same game.
Notably, a similar situation exists, on both Steam and GOG with the first-generation Fallout games (FO 1/2/Tactics), where the original versions disappeared from the store, but not the libraries of existing owners, then later released as "new" games (not recognized as "owned" by owners of the old releases, though we still have access to the old version in our libraries so it doesn't concern us much); these events coincided with Bethesda acquiring the rights to the old Fallout games and later publishing all of their old games on GOG, respectively.
Except in the case of Afterlight, the "new" was Steam only, though if I go digging through available evidence, I suspect I will find Afterlight disappeared from GOG around the same time the "old" version left Steam.
