There's a guide on the forums[1] (with an abbreviated version on the PC Gaming Wiki[2]) on how to manually download and install UB.

Maybe this could help the GOG team as a starting point?

Also, I'd be happy to donate the german CD retail release of TR Gold.

they need to release the expansions to the original 3 tomb raiders for free to people who already own the original 3 games on gog.com since the games are technically freeware.
