lordtrollface I'd even pay 30$ for this. I have two CDs at home, both struggling to work. Also, the soundtrack is almost impossible to get, though it was included in the Polish Collector's Edition, so that would be nice, too.

Wasserblaffer This game needs to be on GOG. I still have a boxed copy lying around, but it is a pain to get running on modern machines, and the versions are conflicting (patches fixes network settings, but mess up portraits and other aspects of the game). Secondly, it's the only semi-historical and mythological Japanese classic RPG I know of, with squad tactics unseen in any other RPG of its time.

Nexipal I found out how to fix it and make it work on Windows 10. You need the latest patch 1.2.18 and a No CD Patch because newer Windows versions don't support securerom anymore. You need to copy and paste the Samurai.lot into your Lot folder on your harddrive. Now use Windows 95 mode and check "deactivate scarling for high DPI" and you are good to go.
Nexipal Found my copy again todays but the installer is kinda drunk.. Asks for CD1 to tell me that it needs CD2 to tell me it needs CD1 again..

mickmca This is a great game with one serious drawback: The DRM protection is so savagely paranoid that it wrecked three CDROMs and one entire computer before I figured out that it was the culprit. I would love to have this game DRM-free. I actually own TWO copies because I hoped the problems were unique to the first CD purchased. Nope.
