The Witcher 1 64 bit executable

The game only has 32-bit executable. Due to 32-bit limitations combined with specific way the game is coded this game may run into RAM allocation issues and crash. The problem is long known and it's magnitude varies depending on hardware and software specs.
It would be nice if CDPR would create 64-bit executable to permanently fix the problem.

If CDPR is not willing to do the work and update the game, then release the engine source code and let the community do it.

+1, The Witcher need to be Updated to be playeble on more PCs with modern Hardware!

It's a shame I can't play this on my brand new Mac without putting Windows on it. I bought this game back when it first appeared on Steam and I was so excited for a run on a stronger, more up to date machine all these years later. Please update this!

I bought the game on steam, since Catalina I can't play it again. Sad.
