The Sinking City is a game of investigation genre taking place in a fictional open world inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft.
The player incarnates a private investigator in 1920s, who finds himself in a city of New England, Oakmont Massachusetts. It’s currently suffering from extensive waterflood, and its cause is clearly supernatural. The city trembles on the brink of madness.
fisk0 two days ago Frogwares tweeted that the case had been resolved in their favor, with them now having sole ownership of the Epic and Steam releases, really hope it can come to GOG now!
RedRubio Saw Call of Cthulu on discount again and it reminded me that The Sinking City isn't available on GOG... Definitely would love to own that one DRM-free!!!

u2jedi Well it;s back on STEAM but in an earlier build that does not include Frogwares additional DLC. STEAM are piss poor communicators when it comes to reasons for why it's back. It's not like the court has ruled on it yet.
Hanglyman The game currently on Steam is an inferior version without DLC, achievements or cloud saves. I think the full version IS available some other places... would be nice if GOG could be one of them, though I'm not sure how the legal issues affect that currently.

GunthySalvus fantastic horror/rpg/detective and the best H.P. Lovecraft inspired game.
It only get bad reviews because the game makes you think and for the modern generations that is a problem.
GOG the game is drm free on other site, so it should be here too.
It is not yet a classic but with time it will be...humans only apreciate things at the dying doors....

RichardUPickman I dont want to get it on steam but i like the first gameplay footage as well as lovecraftion elements. So a gog release would be an instant purchase.
gogskel The trailer was a bit action-heavy, but the mindfucks included make me think that these developers have a pretty good idea of how to pull this off. I'd really love to see this game on GOG.
