ToxicBrainSludge This game really was great. A buddy owned it and we would play for quite a while. The various scenarios featuring opponents from history was a very cool idea, not sure how historically accurate their strategies were, but it was neat. The 'level editor' was also hours of fun. This would be an insta-purchase for me, and I'd probably contact my old buddy and tell him about it.
aclemens One of the first games a buddy of mine and I owned, and I still have the IBM PC Dos 2.0 boxed set on a shelf. Would love to buy this here...
Larzan This was my first RPG / Strategy game, it blew my mind. It would be great to be able to buy it here for a couple of bucks.
One of the first and definately the best of its era, at least IMHO.
So much fun to play. Wish there was a remake or sth. Hmmmmmm... Maybe i should do exactly that, hehe :)
oudaveguy Amazing game for the era, and probably still way more fun than most strategy games today. Totally concur with the comments below. It also had a superb scenario editor.
sivaseth Who even holds the rights to Ancient Art of War and Ancient Art of War at Sea? These games must surely be abandonware by now. I wish they would come out on GOG! These were two of my most played games in the early 80s.
duxcorvan The first real RTS, as primitive as addictive. Its rock-paper-scissor concept was deeper than it looked, and it was real fun, but ran like mad in a Pentium in the 90s, even with DOS emulators, I'd love to have itworking properly. Maybe in a bundle with the other "Ancient War" games which were also very entertaining (and not so prehistoric :-)
